Biography:

While mostly unrecognizable in the United States, Vaimiti (or as her friends call her, Vai) was one of the hottest exports out of the Pacific region in 2015, obtaining the title of Miss Tahiti that year.  With style, grace and looks she is the very essence of a pageant winner.  It's sad to say however that the fame was over just as quick as it began and Vai, after passing along the crown to her successor, found herself now stuck with no more upward mobility.

Vai wants to make it big in any way possible, modeling, more pageant winning, acting, you name it and she wants to do it.  She wants to be more famous and gain more attraction, but can't do it without help because she feels lost in the vast ocean that is celebrity stardom.  It was very unique, but she came across the CSFL and, while she's never been a physically aggressive person, heard from some other budding starlets that it might be an interesting place to get known while showing she can compete with much bigger, better known names.

The last straw that made her sign was when she heard that another former Miss Tahiti was poised to join the CSFL for the very same reason, Hinarani de Longeaux.  The two have had a rivalry in almost every single way possible (including two physical fights outside the CSFL, both won by Hinarani) and it's only going to get more heated now that both are going for the exact same goal.

Style And Strategy:

Vai's style unfortunately reflects her lack of experience in any sort of fighting arena, but she is however showing raw talent and improvement thanks to a nice regime of kickboxing, MMA style takedowns and ground work, and professional wrestling holds and submissions.  She's started to get more well rounded as a fighter as opposed to "throw my hands in your hair and pull all the time".  She will prefer to stand up and use her legs to her advantage before going in for a simple throw or takedown and attempt to work a submission move.

Her style may be basic, but it's effective for her.  The less things that she can choose from the better, and if she focuses on using the basics, she will be proficient at them, often using them until she outlasts her opponents stamina and can close in for the fight winning maneuver.

Preferred Attacks:

Vai prefers to use her long legs to her advantage in her stand up game, preferring to fire kicks as opposed to strikes.  She also heavily favors the wrestling inspired double jump kick when applicable.

On the ground, Vai will prefer to use basic wrestling submission moves or simple MMA moves, nothing too complex as the steps may end up confusing her in the heat of battle and the over complicate things.

Finishing Moves:

The Manta Ray Surfboard:
Vai has shown that she enjoys finishing fights with a maneuver called The Manta Ray Surfboard, a simple combination of a wrestling hold and submission.  With her opponent face down on the ground, Vai will stand over them, often placing one foot on their lower to mid back.  She will then use the opponent's own arms and wrap them crisscross around their own neck before grabbing their wrists and pulling back while applying pressure on their back.  The hold bends their back to an uncomfortable angle while her opponents own arms apply pressure to their neck, essentially choking them out with their own arms and leading to a surrender or chokeout.

Weaknesses:

Vai's weakness comes from her inexperience in most things.  Her first two physical altercations with Hinarani, despite the lack of training at the time, showed that she can't just rely on physical attributes alone.  When confronted by a girl who knows what she is doing or can attack Vai from all angles, Vai may experience moments of forgetting or not knowing what to do and can simply revert back to basic cat fighting strategies which she is only a novice at.  From there other more experienced girls can begin to dominate the fight with her.

Vai also has experienced humiliation at the hands of Hinarani and doesn't want to go though that again.  Humiliating holds or poses may cause her to panic and freak out in the middle of defense.

Preferred Matches:

Vai appreciates structured fights with a varying amount of rules.  She also prefers fights on beach or tropical locations.

Preferred Attire:

Vai highly prefers to wear two piece swimsuits and will often wear a "Tahiti" sash across her body before the match, often putting it somewhere at the start.  She also commonly will come with a flower in her ear.

Friends And Allies:

None Currently.

Rivals And Enemies:

Enemy:  Hinarani de Longeaux:
Hinarani was once also Miss Tahiti but several years earlier then Vai and in terms of personality, different in a surprising amount of ways.  Constantly harassed by Hinarani, Vai has been in two catfights with her before the CSFL, both resulting in a loss for Vai and humiliation at the hands of Hinarani that she won't forget.  She considers her to an enemy and never to be trusted.
